Chain Products
Grade 30 Chain
Grade 30 chain is a general use utility chain, made of low carbon steel. A few examples of its applications are log chain, cargo lashing, tailgate and guard rail chain. It comes in several finishes self-colored, bright zinc and hot dipped galvanized. The W.L.L. (working load limit) must never be exceeded, and grade 30 chain is not to be used for overhead lifting.
Grade 70 Chain
Grade 70 chain has a higher tensile strength than grade 30 chain. It is designed for load binding and tie-down applications. The W.L.L. (working load limit) must never be exceeded, and grade 70 chain is not to be used for overhead lifting.

Chain Slings
Working load limits are based on chain slings being new and manufactured from the correctly matched grade components. There is a large variety of chain slings available, and we have listed the most common types in the provided PDF. The working limits of type T and Q are the same, based on the load in a quad sling being balanced on 3 legs at any given time.
